What do normal, disabled and unknown mean?

Read status information together with its observation time, and understand what a check can and cannot tell you.

Public information only. Registration, checking, purchasing and appeal sessions are not available yet. Live products and transaction rules will be published before launch.

Check the status and the time

Account status can change. A check reflects an observation at a particular time. Look at when it was checked and whether the result came from a cache. An earlier normal result cannot guarantee successful sign-in now.

Normal is status information

Normal usually means that the checking provider has not reported the account as disabled. Whether a password is correct, extra verification is required or a particular game works must be checked using the actual sign-in and service messages.

Disabled needs more context

Temporary, permanent and unspecified disability depend on what the provider can report. A status label alone does not establish whether an appeal is available. The official Google page gives the relevant instructions.

Unknown does not mean disabled

Insufficient information, an unavailable provider or a limited checking capability can produce an unknown result. When the result cannot be confirmed, uncertainty should remain explicit rather than being guessed as normal or disabled.
